Professional Football Federation considers disciplinary action against Gwangju coach Lee Jung-hyo for 'revealing the referee's real name'

Lee Jung-hyo, manager of the K League 1 Gwangju, who mentioned the referee's real name at a press conference after the game, is on the verge of disciplinary action.

The Korea Professional Football Federation said, "The need for disciplinary action against coach Lee Jung-hyo was raised at today's meeting of game supervisors," adding, "We will decide to refer him to the reward and punishment committee after receiving Gwangju's report."

Coach Lee Jung-hyo expressed regret over the decision at a post-match press conference yesterday, saying, "Our team and referee Park Byung-jin don't seem to match well," about defender Byun Jun-su being replaced by injury after being hit in the face by Ulsan Heo Yul's elbow and Heo Yul was warned.

If coach Lee's remarks are judged to be "an act of denying the authority of the referee," he could be suspended from more than three games and less than 10 games or fined more than 3 million won.

In March, Gwangju and Pohang games, which were managed by referee Park Byung-jin, Gwangju Cho Sung-kwon was injured by falling from the head, but the whistle was not called, and coach Lee was warned after strongly protesting it. 메이저놀이터
